If, for any reason, you reject the idea of recycled cartridges, look to see if online discounts are available from the major officer suppliers. Many offer excellent discounts if you buy in bulk, and shipping to your home or local store may be free. You can often find substantial savings, especially if your cartridge is one the store does not normally keep in stock. And if shopping in person, ask if the store offers a rebate for your empty cartridge. Some will send you a coupon to be used on your next purchase of any item in the store.
Whether shopping in person at a traditional store or buying online, it is possible to save a lot of money on inkjet cartridges. Doing a little research to compare costs can result in a drastic reduction of your printing costs.
